In Rome there are about 165 Subterranean sites. No other city in the World has this much.
There is the magic feeling of the city of Rome above the ground that visitors notice with its fascinating ruins, colours, fountains, amazing domes making Rome a veritable a free open theatre and museum. Then, under the vestiges of centuries, there is an underground Rome made up of fresco walls, Roman villas, Ancient Roman condominiums, Roman mosaics, Roman acqueducts, Roman auditoriums, catacombs, colombariums and entire necropolis. Apparently, they have less appeal than its "major sister", the Rome above the ground but in some cases whose artistic and achitectural quality is equal to that of the monuments above the ground.
Myself will share this unique heritage with those travelers who want to experience a different way to discover the Eternal City, the Subterranean Rome. If in IInd Cent. A.D. in Rome there were over one million of inhabitants: today, the underground patrimony concerns the four corners of Rome and outside of Rome. "Rome was not built in a day": there are multiple layers spread out under the city. I will be honoured to conduct a guided tour of Subterranean Rome. Myself will lead personally the private tour of Underground Rome.
